Just because you’re hot, skinny, got boobs and ass, and put on lingerie in front of a sports car does not make you a successful model or person. I’m sick of seeing millions of young girls chasing this lifestyle of cars, sex, partying, drinking, etc. That’s really not success in my eyes. You may get VIP access and attention from men who are drooling over your body but will you be proud of it 10+ years from now? You’re basically making money from showing off your body. I blame the industry and people who follow it also though. I just wish that girls would pursue a more dignified lifestyle towards success. It would be awesome to see more young women get recognized for their efforts in politics, health, science, research, writing, etc. Anything that doesn’t have to do with their physical beauty. Don’t get me wrong, these “models” are gorgeous to me but I don’t support what they do at all. I think it’s kinda sad in a way. It’s as if they find self value in showing more skin to appeal to what the media wants. We need better role models to be portrayed in the social media to push young women for brighter futures and roles in life.

a girl’s tug of war with insecurities

The media, the magazines, the trends, the world tells us that we are beautiful the way we are yet they still promote that our looks are what matters most. Which one is it? I try so hard to be confident and I wouldn’t want to look like anyone but myself but there are days where I see guys drooling over hot girls with fake boobs, and tons of make up…and they always say they like girls who are simple and natural. Then why do you obsess over these fake model-like females? See why we struggle so much with accepting our bodies and looks? We constantly feel compared.

Maybe some women aren’t meant to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free til they find someone just as wild to run with them.
